Hemingway – what’s in a name

Independent, goal-oriented, innovative with a clear, distinctive style, free from pretension and embellishment. This was our credo when founding our organization, and it remains true to this day. We were inspired by the life and, most importantly, the work of Ernest Hemingway – one of the most influential writers of the 20th century, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. His work is characterized by a sober style, short and powerful, focused on the essence, and therefore highly effective.

It’s up to you to recognize our way of working in this.

Programs

Where do the programs take place?
Our programs take place at Hemingway Professional Governance: Roemer Visscherstraat 44, 1054 EZ Amsterdam. Parking is available at Byzantium Q-Park (Tesselschadestraat 1, Amsterdam).

I really can’t attend a session, how can I make it up?
In case you are unable to attend one of the program sessions due to urgent reasons, we will, if possible, offer you the opportunity to make up for this session in another program. Please send an email to Jorinde Lim A Po at limapo@hemingway-pg.nl with:

• Your name and phone number
• The program you are participating in
• The topic and date of the session you are unable to attend

We will get back to you as soon as possible with optional make-up session opportunities.

Where can I find the readers for preparing for the sessions?
To prepare for a session within a program, Hemingway uses readers. These readers are available at least two weeks before the start of the program in your My Hemingway under the library section.

I want to review the presentation of a session, where can I find it?
The presentations are available after a session on your My Hemingway under the library section.

I have successfully completed a program, where can I find my certificate?
You can download your certificate from the profile page of your My Hemingway account.

I haven’t received a login link. How can I log in?
If you have a subscription but haven’t received a link, it’s best to first check your spam folder. If you don’t find the link there, you can request a login link by emailing info@hemingway-pg.nl.

Where can I find the presentations of the sessions?
If presentations are used, you can find them in the library section of My Hemingway.

E-learning

How can I register for a masterclass?
You will receive an invitation for each masterclass by email, and you can register via the link in the email. Alternatively, you can directly sign up through the portal once you are logged in to My Hemingway.

PACT

I haven’t received a link to the online assessment. How can I complete the measurement?
Would you first check your spam folder? The link is sent by an automated system and is often mistaken for spam. If you don’t find the link there, you can send an email to info@hemingway-pg.nl requesting a new link.

I have completed the measurement, when will I receive the results?
Once you have completed the measurement, the system will notify us, and one of our staff members will contact you to schedule a phone or online appointment to discuss the results. You will then receive the concise report via email.

My Hemingway Account

What is My Hemingway?
My Hemingway is the platform of Hemingway Professional Governance where you can find all information related to your participation in programs and forums. Under the Library section, you will find the Readers, among other materials, to prepare for the sessions. You also have access to the E-learning platform and the digital Board Evaluation through My Hemingway, if you participate in them. Additionally, you have the opportunity to keep your information up-to-date here, ensuring that you are always on our radar for upcoming opportunities.

I have forgotten my login details for My Hemingway, what should I do?
Can’t you find your login details for My Hemingway, or have you forgotten them? Send an email to info@hemingway-pg.nl with the subject: “Login Details My Hemingway,” and we will send you new login details as soon as possible.

Do I earn CPD points for my participation?
CPD points are awarded for participation in the programs and forums. One CPD point is awarded for each hour spent on Permanent Up-to-Date. Below are the CPD points per program:
